ClanForge Privacy Policy

ClanForge ("the app", "we", "us") is a clan management tool for Clash of Clans. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and your rights as a user.

1. Data We Collect

ClanForge collects only the data necessary to provide its features:

• Clash of Clans API Key — entered by you in Settings. Stored encrypted on your device using Android's secure storage. Never transmitted to any server controlled by ClanForge.
• Clan Tag — entered by you in Settings. Stored locally on your device.
• Clan and Member Data — fetched from the official Clash of Clans API using your API key. This includes clan name, member names, player tags, trophy counts, donation stats, and achievement data. This data is public via the CoC API and is stored locally on your device only.
• Discord Link — optionally entered by you in Settings. Stored locally on your device.
• Player Notes and Join Dates — optionally entered by you within the app. Stored locally on your device.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any account credentials.
• We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, or location data.
• We do not use analytics SDKs or crash reporting services in this version of the app.
• We do not run any servers that receive your clan or member data.

3. How Data Is Stored

All data collected by ClanForge is stored locally on your device using SQLite (for clan and member data) and Android's encrypted secure storage (for your API key). No data is transmitted to ClanForge servers. If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.

4. Third-Party Services

ClanForge communicates with the following third-party services:

• Supercell Clash of Clans API (via RoyaleAPI proxy at cocproxy.royaleapi.dev) — to fetch clan and player data. Your API key is sent to this proxy as a Bearer token with each request. The RoyaleAPI proxy is a community-run service; its privacy policy is available at royaleapi.com.
• Supercell CDN — clan badge images are loaded directly from Supercell's content delivery network.

ClanForge does not integrate with advertising networks, social media platforms, or data brokers.

5. Advertising

The free version of ClanForge may display banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data in accordance with Google's privacy policy. Users in the European Economic Area will be shown a consent prompt before any personalised advertising is displayed.

6. Children's Privacy

ClanForge is intended for users aged 13 and older, consistent with the age requirements of Clash of Clans and Google Play. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Your Rights

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can:

• Clear all settings and stored data from within the app via Settings → Clear All Settings.
• Uninstall the app to permanently remove all locally stored data.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to access, rectify, and erase your data. As ClanForge does not operate servers that hold your data, these rights are effectively exercised by clearing your data within the app.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy as the app adds new features. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
